Our risotto rice is of the Arborio type. This is the most famous rice for risotto and is from Italy. Arborio risotto rice is slightly adhesive and round in shape. Particularly suitable for making delicious risotto. Use about 75 g per person. Add 3 times the amount of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. For risotto: Fry the rice in oil or butter for a few minutes. In small portions, add 3x the amount of stock while stirring in about 30 minutes. Wait in between until the stock has been absorbed. Storage advice: keep cool, dry and tightly closed.
