Our bulghur comes from South-East Turkey, from a farmers’ cooperative of 74 organic farmers. They grow and process the bulgur themselves. They first steam the whole durum wheat grains, which they then grind between stones. This produces beautiful coarse bulghur with an optimal nutritional value. Naturally, the packaging of our Ekoplaza bulghur and buckwheat is plastic-free and compostable. Bulghur has a cooking time of approximately 7 minutes. Then leave it covered for another 10 minutes. Both hot and cold tasty, but can also be used in biscuits, cake or even in porridge.
