Cook is a very complete line of organic kitchen herbs and spices in jars, from the French company Arcadie. Cook’s herbs, spices and extracts are in jars made of PET material and not in glass. Why PET? Arcadie puts forward the following arguments: the production process of PET bottles is more sustainable than that of glass jars, PET is a recyclable material and much lighter than glass, which makes it cheaper and more energy-efficient in terms of transport. Another advantage is that more content fits in a jar of PET material than in a glass jar.
