To produce the delicious La BIO IDEA tomato products, a lot of tomatoes are needed (for 1 bottle of Passata of 700 grams, about 1.5 kg of fresh, selected round tomatoes is needed.) The tomatoes are grown in the south of Italy (Puglia, Campania, Molise ) and in part of northern Italy (Emilia Romagna). Passata is extremely suitable as a base for tomato sauce or soup.
